[Beautiful, cocky, cool little wildcat studying directing + a devoted CEO with multiple secret identities]
[Both leads are virgins + transmigrate into a book (light mystery) + relaxed ensemble cast + sweet flirtation + campus life + road trip + happy ending]
After Su Ye transmigrates into a book, her scumbag ex-boyfriend from the real world turns out to be the novel's male lead.
The moment she sees him, Su Ye realizes she really does like him, in a pathological sort of way. The kind of liking that won't get better until she slaps him.
She goes on a rampage, dealing with the scumbag, punishing the villainous girl, teasing the System, and messing with her classmates. She's having the time of her life.
She also meets Fu Qingyu, a character who never appeared in the book.
*
“Hey, Fu Qingyu! The ‘Ye’ in Su Ye is the character for ‘also,’ not the ‘ye’ in ‘wildcat’!”
Su Ye yanks off her hair-drying towel and throws it at him.
He grabs both ends of the towel and loops it around her neck. Caught off guard, Su Ye is pulled toward him.
Before she can even ask what he's doing, the person above her moves his lips. “All right, little wildcat.”
She's lost her mind...
She can't hear a single word he says, whatever he calls her. All she can do is stare at his lips and want to kiss him...
Should she take a bite? It's only a book, after all. She can kiss him and run without having to take responsibility.
Su Ye rises on her toes and lightly tugs his collar. “Bend down a little.”
He doesn't ask why. Keeping his eyes fixed on hers, he suddenly puts a hand on her waist and lowers his head until the tip of his nose touches hers.
“Like this?”
His gaze drifts to her lips.
“Or like this?”

Later on,
The more Su Ye looks into the past, the more she finds traces of him in both the book and the world beyond it.
“Who are you, really?”
He takes off his shirt, revealing a design on his chest that mirrors the one on Su Ye's wrist.
Memory is a Möbius strip. He has only been falling in love with the same question again and again, at different points along the way.
