From the Start on an Island, Adorable Beasts Fight to Be Adopted

[Light Livestreaming + Relaxed + Animals + No Female Lead]

In his previous life, Lin Chu chased the promise of success for years, worked himself to the bone, and only realized in the end that it had all been an illusion.

In this life... his parents died and left him hundreds of millions in assets. Born with a silver spoon in his mouth, he only wanted to live like a hermit in the mountains and forests.

From the start, he bought a private island and settled in to enjoy retirement!

On the first day exploring the island, he came across an injured speckled-billed penguin and brought back an unhatched penguin egg too.

Who could have guessed that the penguin mother, timid and frightened at first, would latch onto Lin Chu after he healed her?

She loved clinging to him and even brazenly burrowed into his bed at night.

Chirp, chirp, chirp~

With her hands on her hips, the penguin mother pointed at him and scolded: “You’re such a good human. From now on, let’s live together, and you can help me raise the baby too.”

Lin Chu froze. “That’s a crime! A serious crime! I just said I wanted a pet, and now I’ve got an endangered species.”

Who knew the penguin mother was also a neighborhood gadabout, going out every day to gossip and brag with the animals?

[Did you know? That new human on the island is really kind, super cuddly, and good with kids. His place is absolutely top-notch!]

Spot-billed ducks, lemurs, swimming pigs, white elk...

More and more little ones appeared at his door, lining up to be adopted. Lin Chu panicked: “My place really isn’t an animal daycare!”
