[Historical farming story + family squabbles + a very, very small golden finger]
(P.S. A quiet, ordinary story about working hard to make money and raise kids.)
When the apocalypse came, Xu Shi’an was swallowed by a zombie horde.
When she opened her eyes again, she had become a frail woman who’d been angered to death right after her family split up…
After sorting through the memories, Xu Shi’an thought: What the heck?!
When other people split from their families, they get a house and land, or at the very least pots, bowls, and pans, right?
All the original owner got was three scrawny burdens?!
She’d been bought into the family and hadn’t even gotten a single meal out of them, yet now she had to look after her cheap husband’s three younger siblings. No wonder she’d been angered to death!
With no money, food, house, or land, and three kids in tow, Xu Shi’an had landed in the worst possible situation. Freshly transmigrated, she was so devastated she wished she could just bang her head against a wall and die all over again.
But remembering what it felt like to die in her previous life, she comforted herself: Let it be. Since she was here, she’d make the best of it. She’d been reborn with a life to spare, and at least she was still half alive.
A few years later, just as Xu Shi’an had finally managed to raise the little rascals, her cheap husband returned in grand style with his beloved wife and young daughter.
Xu Shi’an: ?
Xu Shi’an was baffled.
Xu Shi’an was dumbfounded.
Was this the ancient version of “my husband got married, but I’m not the bride”?
Just then, her once-young brother-in-law, now a handsome, refined man, stepped forward…
Very good, highly recommended.
When will the update be completed? I'm so impatient to wait 🤭🤭🤭🤭
