The Taoist Chu Guanxiang was burning incense to his founding master when thunder and rain raged outside. The statue suddenly toppled over and knocked him unconscious.

A mysterious tortoiseshell entered his mind. By chance, he obtained his founder’s treasure, and from then on his readings were worth a fortune, with even a single divination fetching a thousand gold.

His founding master was the Great Worthy Teacher, but the sect’s history had been lost to the ages. Charged with a mission, Chu Guanxiang sets out to uncover his sect’s past: climbing Tian Shan, exploring the ocean depths, probing ancient tombs, and searching sinkholes... He faces countless brushes with death in an adventure full of thrills.
