A Summer Kiss, a Snowy Romance with My Lover in the West

Cold, tsundere, goofy fake flirt with a straight spine × black-hearted, capable, rebellious true flirt

Sweet and sour romance + stealing someone's love and then chasing them back + yandere fiction + college campus

The nouveau riche Zhen family went bankrupt, and overnight, Zhen Xuehe became a student in desperate financial need.

Her beauty was useless. She had to fend for herself and lower her once-proud swanlike neck.

Huo Xiteng came from a powerful family and stood at the top of the social pyramid, treating life like a game.

A flawless face, born to wealth and privilege, wild and unruly, a natural rebel.

Some people are like rainbows. You only know they're there once you've met them.

Though worlds apart, the two fell into a secret romance that defied convention.

Xuehe thought they would go from school uniforms to wedding dresses, but while Xiteng was abroad competing, she received a breakup that came entirely from him.

He blocked her on every platform, leaving her to learn from social media:

The ex-boyfriend who had just dumped her held a trophy in his right hand and the rumored fiancée in his left, his smile dazzlingly bright.

Just as his friend had said,

“Someone like Huo Xiteng would never lower himself to date someone beneath him. It was just a fling.”

-

It took Xuehe a year to move on from the relationship.

She forgot him, started a new life, and accepted a senior's advances.

She thought she'd weathered every storm and that happiness was finally within reach.

But the moment Huo Xiteng landed back home, he rammed into her new boyfriend's car and started causing trouble.

Trying to protect her current boyfriend, she wounded her ex with the art tools in her hand.

The man wiped away the blood and laughed instead of getting angry. “Xuehe, break up with him and get back together with me, okay?”

-

After blood was spilled, she discovered another side to her ex-boyfriend.

A bedroom sealed off from the world.

Xuehe's clothes were disheveled, her eyes red at the corners, with nowhere left to retreat.

He had cornered her in a space covered with photos documenting the past year of her life.

Wearing a loose bathrobe, the man knelt on one knee. His lowered eyes still burned with feverish obsession. “Baby, why are you running away again? Your shoelaces have come undone.”

Those starved for love want to be loved. Those who are imperfect yearn for a love without limits.

Madness is contagious.
