In the twenty-fifth year of Hongwu (1392), Prince Yiwen Zhu Biao died of illness. Zhu Yuanzhang made Zhu Yunwen the emperor's grandson, but he was wary of the influence of his second son Zhu Yunxi's relatives (the Duke of Liang Lan Yu and the Chang Yuchun family). The protagonist travels back to 15-year-old Zhu Yunxi, who is at the center of the power whirlpool of the Nanjing Imperial Palace. Facing Zhu Yuanzhang's temptation, Zhu Yunwen's suspicion, and the covetousness of Zhu Di and other vassal kings, he must rewrite the direction of history while preserving himself.
