The Hunter's Mechanical Core

As human technology continues to advance, the environment of the Hongyuan Continent is steadily being destroyed. Social problems intensify, and humanity turns to genetic and mechanical technologies in search of development and survival. At first, these technologies serve the wars between the powers of the Hongyuan Continent. After the wars end, they do indeed give human society a tremendous boost. But as time passes, divisions and conflicts begin to emerge among humanity.

The tensions that have been building up finally erupt. Some people begin calling themselves “New Humans,” while those who still retain human bodies call themselves “Pure Humans.” Humanity now splits into two entirely different paths of development. The technologically enhanced “New Humans” gain special abilities and become physically stronger than “Pure Humans,” who have never undergone technological upgrades. Their appearance also clearly distinguishes them from “Pure Humans.” The “Pure Humans” control society's political resources, and their self-proclaimed noble arrogance clashes with the “New Humans'” superior abilities and work performance, gradually escalating into a serious social conflict.
