A Chinese Police Officer's Strange Adventures in Portland

Chinese police officer Tan Zhong is searching for his elder brother, who vanished off the coast of Oregon in the United States. He never imagined that his search would uncover half a century of suppressed American urban legends.

A ship graveyard stranger than the Bermuda Triangle, vertical sea caves, ghostly sea trees, zones of abnormal gravity, a nuclear submarine posing as another vessel, secret nuclear tests absent from the record, ghosts in silver mines, Bigfoot hunters, a bizarre string of spontaneous human combustions, crystal-ball prophecies, the sea god's flute, a black mage's prayers...

The reopening of a story buried in the past: where The X-Files began.

Mei Cun's new novel invites you to embark on a fantastical journey.
