The Golden-Bladed Imperial Chef Is Helping the Embroidered Uniform Guards Solve Cases Again Today

The genius young chef Meng Qi heads to the capital to win an imperial golden knife. But from the start, things go badly: she is mistaken for a suspect by Yuan Qingyan, the youngest and most cold-faced commander of the Embroidered Uniform Guard in history, and thrown straight into prison?!

Hmph! She won't be a woman if she doesn't get revenge! After her release, she sharpens her knives, determined to “poison” that icy magistrate with one “spiked” delicacy after another!

Who could have guessed that she wouldn't succeed in making him pass out from the spice, but would instead capture both his stomach and his heart?

From then on, she wields her spatula like a blade, solving cold cases, taking on the worst sorts of people, and charging toward her goal of becoming the greatest imperial chef. He uses his power as a shield to keep her safe, clearing every obstacle and happily becoming her strongest, most demanding taste tester!

Yuan Qingyan: “This dish is very much to my liking. And you are staying too.”

Meng Qi: “My lord, you can keep the food, but keeping me will cost extra!”
