A dusty volume of notes about strange things reveals the strange past events of the Bingwu year. The author outlines folk legends with delicate writing style. Each story is like the cold wind blowing in the deep alleys of the old streets. The coolness penetrates into the bone marrow but is not shocking. The best part is between fiction and reality - those familiar folk details give the absurd the ground to take root. Reading late at night, I seem to hear whispers outside the paper window. Is it the lingering soul of the old days, or the echo deep in the human heart?
I finished reading it in one go. The theme of the story is novel, the plot is compact and not sloppy, the author is very imaginative, and the plot is very creative. The details are in place, making it look like a painting and very attractive. The protagonist's character is likeable, the plot advances layer by layer, and the twists and turns are surprising.
