Programmer Lin Yue is caught in an AI experiment accident, and his consciousness is projected into “Nox,” a cyberpunk world ruled by financial conglomerates. During brief “flickers,” he can see his other self lying in a hospital bed in the real world, convincing him that transmigration can be reversed. But the eye-shaped mark slowly opening in the palm of his hand is telling him a different truth. (A little mind-bending and convoluted, and not a conventional power fantasy. It focuses more on portraying a realistic cyber city.)
