Unlucky? I Couldn't Love It More!

“I’m sorry, Chen Shu. I can’t see a future with you.”

His girlfriend of six years turned around and climbed into the BMW, Mercedes, or Audi of a middle-aged local man from Shanghai.

His father was suffering from kidney failure and urgently needed money for surgery.

“Supervisor, there’s an emergency at home. Could I get an advance on my salary?”

“Chen Shu, your performance has fallen short of the target for three consecutive months. You’ve been let go. Go settle your accounts with Finance.”

Hit by a breakup, unemployment, and family upheaval all at once, the unlucky Chen Shu decided to don the yellow robe and become a food delivery rider. Things soon started getting ridiculous...

His former company was investigated for insider trading, and its executives earned themselves a stay at Tilanqiao Prison.

News arrived from his hometown that the area was being demolished... The barren land he’d received in exchange suddenly became valuable.

While delivering food, he crashed into a Mercedes... and the other driver had been drinking.

Chen Shu said, “Unlucky? I absolutely love it!”
