Insectoid: Unlocking My Yandere Disguise as a Wife

[Insect race, two male leads + 1v1 + two powerful leads + both are each other’s one and only + male lead is an insect male]

[Strong-willed, pure-hearted male lead who falls in love at first sight and talks himself into it x yandere, scheming female insect disguised as a male]

Zhou Yinan, a martial powerhouse from a world of ancient martial arts, was sacrificed by his clan, only to be tricked by the Heavenly Dao into becoming its unpaid laborer.

It told him, “Your selfless dedication in your previous life moved Heaven and Earth. We also understand that you never even got to date anyone, let alone hold hands. So now the Heavenly Dao is being especially humane and rewarding you with a wife.”

Zhou Yinan scoffed. “As if I’ve never seen a wife before. You think you can just reward me with one? What a joke. Do I look like someone who’d give in that easily?”

At first, the love interest shows signs of turning dark. He has no feelings for the male lead and only wants to use him. He despises insect males so intensely that he can’t bring himself to like the male lead either. It isn’t until the middle and later parts of the story that he slowly realizes he’s fallen for him, though he refuses to admit it.

The male lead falls in love with him at first sight. He only knows that this is his wife. He’s hopelessly lovestruck and constantly talks himself into believing he’s in love.
