The General’s Discarded Wife: Spear in Hand, Riding Across the Land

Song Xixi was once the celebrated jewel of a military family, famed throughout the capital. Yet for Zhan Beiwang, she concealed her brilliance and devoted herself to domestic life. She served her parents-in-law and spent her entire dowry, only to be humiliated when her husband used his military achievements to ask for a woman general as his equal wife. Zhan Beiwang sneered that she knew nothing but the petty intrigues of the inner household and could never measure up to a dashing woman general. But they forgot one thing: the Silver Spear Rakshasa, who once struck terror into the northern tribes, was none other than this general’s wife whom they looked down upon! When Song Xixi tears off her wedding dress and rides out of the city, that bloodstained spear returns to the northern battlefield. The discarded wife of yesterday becomes the Jade-Faced Yama who leaves enemy troops trembling. Watch this daughter of a military clan take her faithless husband down with her spear, ride across the land, and rewrite her legend!
