A Good-for-Nothing with No Psychic Powers? I Become a God Through Purification

For over a thousand years, alien species have run rampant across the stars, preying on humans and bringing war and pollution to the Alliance.

Humans have also awakened psychic powers, giving rise to two professions: mecha pilots and purifiers. Purifiers, in particular, can eliminate both bodily and environmental pollution caused by alien species.

Mecha pilots with S-rank psychic power or higher are incredibly rare, while purifiers of any rank are one in ten million.

Shi Xin has D-rank psychic power, putting him at the very bottom of the ladder.

Friend: “It's fine. Lower psychic power is better. Let those lunatics run themselves ragged. We can be security guards later and have life all figured out from the get-go!”

Teacher: “Your psychic power may not be high, but you're the most diligent person I've ever met.”

Shi Xin: “...Huh?” (He's busy working as a doctor.)

S-s-s-rank psychic power is the pinnacle for mecha pilots. D-rank? Sorry, no such person exists.

Shi Xin's dream of becoming a top mecha pilot was crushed, but he accidentally discovered that he had a talent for purification.

Wait, aren't purifiers and mecha pilots two entirely different species? (Not really.)

Purifiers need exceptionally high psychic power. Those with excessively pure, powerful psychic energy are born unable to operate mecha.

Shi Xin: “But I seem to be an exception. Not only can I purify pollution, I can also use it to boost my psychic reserves and pilot mecha like crazy.”

Screaming at the top of his lungs: “Who gets it, guys?!”
