In Guangdong in the late Qing Dynasty, Hua Zhenbang came from a martial arts family. He practiced Hongquan with his father since he was a child, and his foundation was solid. Because he was involved in an incident in which local bullies colluded with the government, his family was wiped out. Before his death, his father asked him to pass on the Hong Fist and try to survive in troubled times. Bearing a blood feud, Hua Zhenbang fled south and went through hardships and dangers. Finally, in order to avoid being hunted, he was forced to sign a "piggy" contract and cross the ocean to the "Golden Mountain" in California, USA.
