As the youngest daughter of the Xing family, Yu Bao spent four years being pampered in the capital. Then, in a single day, she was sent to the countryside with her parents to lie low.

The village children called her a “stinking Ninth-Classer” and a “cassava ox.” Apart from Chen Zhou, the hunter's son next door, no one wanted to play with her.

After an accident, she awakened memories of her previous life.

She had been the beloved flower of a museum, charming its visitors. In this life, she had a human body and could hear all sorts of antique relics talking.

Later, she learned that the hunter's family were tomb guardians who had protected the mountain's secrets for centuries. After the Chen family became her godfamily, their fate of having only one child per generation changed, and Yang Tingting suddenly became pregnant with twins.

The commune members cried out that it was impossible, but the Chen family weren't the strangest ones. Liang Xiao'e, the brigade's most son-loving widow, had actually changed her ways, or gone crazy: she doted on her granddaughters like they were royalty, sent her only son to labor camp, and even ran around after the little “stinking Ninth-Classer” every day! She seemed to grow more energetic with age.

Later, the commune members all changed their minds. That “cassava ox” and “stinking Ninth-Classer” was clearly a lucky charm.

Whose daughter was clever, quick-witted, sensible, and polite, and could save the lives of everyone in the brigade just by having a dream? Who could go visit relatives and return with a leader ready to help the brigade get electricity installed?

Xing Yinwei and Pei Na looked at the commune members arguing over who could arrange a betrothal for their daughter, scowled, and shooed them away. “Shoo, shoo! Don't get in the way of our labor reeducation!”
