Lover Who Gathers the Light

Opening "The Lover Who Picked Up the Light" is like opening a door to the old time. Every page is filled with the triviality and tenderness of life. The author uses delicate brushstrokes to outline a pair of lovers from their ignorant heartbeat in youth to their mutual support over the years. The old streets they walked together and the sunsets they watched were all endowed with the warmth of love. There are no earth-shattering plot twists in the book, but there are countless moments that can make your heart tremble. For example, after a busy day, the male protagonist still never forgets to bring the heroine her favorite snacks; when the heroine is at his lowest point, she silently accompanies him and gives strength with silent understanding. Their love takes root and sprouts in ordinary days, and becomes more and more mellow in the daily necessities of life. It shows us that true love is not a momentary passion, but mutual protection over a long period of time. When reading, it is easy to become involved and think of those people in my life who have warmed my time. This book is like an old friend, softly telling the true meaning of love, making people believe that in the torrent of time, there is always a true love worth waiting for and holding on to.
