The protagonist, Lu Zhao, uses his mortal eyes to see through the god-like scam, tearing apart the veil of capital control between data flow and incense. The plot is full of cold speculation on the alienation of technology and the commercialization of faith. The collision between mechanical prayer beads and traditional prayer flags is highly visual. The novel novel surprises the readers.
