[Period] [Reborn] [Small Ensemble Cast] [Everyday Family Life] [A Whole Family of Misfits]
Li Guifen was a tough old bird, but after becoming seriously ill and bedridden with fluid in her lungs, she was poisoned to death by her eldest son’s wife, whose heart was black as pitch. Luckily, the eldest son’s family came along on her final journey, so at least she didn’t die alone.
When she woke up, she had returned to the resurgent 1970s. Delighted, Li Guifen first gave the old geezer a scolding, then found a chance to kick her eldest son’s family out.
In this new life, she, Li Guifen, would live life to the fullest and stop being the endlessly self-sacrificing mother who took care of everything. This time, she would do whatever made her happy. If her whole family was a bunch of misfits, then she’d be the head misfit!
