Gel Beast Apocalypse

The apocalypse, first-person narration, and a plot-focused story. The writing is a little rough, with a few grammatical errors in the first several dozen chapters, but it gets better as the story goes on. (Please stick with it!) There are skills similar to Ultraman's (Ultraman himself does not appear in the novel; it just uses similar skills. Ultraman fans, please don't flame me.) Lots of fight scenes.

The world has come under attack from invaders, but... the invaders... are all gel beasts? The college students who had gone on a field trip happened to run into them, and their lives took an unexpected turn... What fate awaits them next?

A few disclaimers first: The author is not opposed to furries, and this book has nothing to do with reality. It is entirely fictional.

This book was inspired by the game Changed Special, also known as Furry Lab. Some inspiration also came from games the author has played: Division (some skills and firearm designs), Valorant (mainly skill designs, no shouting "Mom!"), and Dark (firearm designs), as well as Ultraman. Other ideas came from videos the author has watched. For example, the idea in Chapter 11 of sticking something into the ground to unfold a steel barricade on both sides came from Battlefield 6.
