In the future, humanity and the native gods suffer devastating losses. Humanity is nearly wiped out. To ensure the survival of humankind, the last special unit left in the world, the Future Squad, sacrifices itself to send its captain back to the past and change the future. After the Future Squad's captain, Chuang Yuxuanji, returns to the past, he discovers the truth. He does everything he can to turn the tide of history, but he can never see his teammates again. Just as everything is about to succeed, he falls into a deep sleep and meets his teammates in a dream.
