(Unconventional apocalypse + beautiful girls + fantasy + mechanical ascension + mechs + viral infection + beast girls + comedy + no System)
The early chapters focus on building the world and characters. Things only start to change after a while.
Have you ever wondered what happens when technology collides with the apocalypse?
Everyday life spent meeting all kinds of beautiful girls.
What? You say beautiful girls alone are too ordinary? Kid, are you into beast girls? Mecha girls? Gundams?
A virus known as H·K invades. It can make humans evolve, strengthening their bodies and granting them superpowers. It can also cause animals to evolve into human form, complete with human-level intelligence and even superpowers. That's the most common outcome, though. The virus can also invade electronic devices, giving machines thoughts and consciousness. But failed specimens that cannot withstand the process go mad, lose consciousness, and become bloodthirsty, violent walking corpses.
To fight the apocalypse, the surviving scientists build a spacecraft called the Sky Garden. It keeps them out of danger while they use the virus as an energy source to create powerful mechs.
The evolved animals, now intelligent, establish an empire of their own.
Wait, an empire created by animals?
The story follows different plotlines. The male and female leads start out as companions, but an accident later separates them, setting the story on two parallel paths.
Watch the male lead pilot a mech, tame a dragon, meet all kinds of unusual people, and ultimately change the world...
Watch the cyborg heroine grow through tearful, blood-soaked farewells and change the world through mechanical ascension...
The world is not that simple. Undercurrents churn below the surface, and everyone has their own schemes.
Well written, five stars for encouragement
