My Buddhist Monk Husband Asked to Marry His Sister-in-Law, So I Turned Around and Married a Powerful Beijing Tycoon

After a car accident, one of the two young masters of the Jiang family died, and the other was injured. When my Buddhist husband woke up in the hospital, he called me “sister-in-law.” He said his body held the soul of his older brother, Jiang Huaiyi. I went mad looking for doctors and Taoist priests, desperate to get my husband back. Then one night, I heard him talking with our son: “Dad, you've loved Auntie for years. You even stayed celibate in the Buddhist hall for her. Now you can finally be with her openly.” The man in bed patted our son's head. “If I hadn't wanted to stop your mother from ruining your aunt's relationship, I wouldn't have married her.” I hid in the shadows, still trying to process their words, when I witnessed what happened after our son left. My usually aloof and self-controlled Buddhist husband, who had abstained from desire for seven years to devote himself to Buddhism, held his sister-in-law close on that cramped hospital bed, sharing an intimate moment with her. The next day, I applied for Jiang Huaijing's death certificate and burned our marriage certificate. At his lavish proposal ceremony for his sister-in-law, I boarded the helicopter that had come to take me away. But the aloof Buddhist prince chased after it in a frenzy, running for blocks.
