When Lin Wan was trapped in the corridor on the eighth floor of an old residential building, she realized that the real nightmare had just begun. The elevator was shut down, the stairs were sealed, and there was no signal. She and several strange neighbors became isolated "samples" and were forced to be involved in a fatal game released by a cold screen.
Known as the "Cloisters," this place follows a horrific cycle called "Echoes." In each reincarnation, Lin Wan relived desperate situations with clear memories: either cruel psychological tests, forcing them to identify each other amid suspicion; or strange environmental mutations, rain of poison that corroded the skin, and even walls that kept squeezing, trying to swallow people up. Trust is a luxury product, and human nature is teetering on the edge of life and death.
To make matters worse, there seems to be an unknown terrorist entity lurking in Room 808 that Lin Wan just rented, but the seemingly only exit leads to instant death, and his companion Zhou Da has already paid the price. When the camera symbolizing the "observer" finally turned its cold lens on Lin Wan, a new round of death threats had arrived. Can she find the truth in this endless cycle of terror and escape this corridor of despair?
