My daughter was diagnosed with disgusting growths covering her intestines. Without an immediate, exorbitantly expensive operation, her life would be in danger.
She clutched her husband and cried until her voice was hoarse, shouting in anguish:
"Dad, Mom, I want to live..."
My daughter fought with all her strength to stay alive, but my husband pulled me aside and spoke to me hesitantly:
"I can't afford that much money. An operation this expensive has to be the hospital ripping us off. Why don't we take our daughter home first and look for another way?"
My husband thought I would threaten to kill myself along with our daughter.
But after remembering the text message I'd seen, I only smiled calmly:
"Since you don't want to save her, I'll contact them about euthanasia right now and give our daughter a quick end."
