When Lin Mo received the unsigned black envelope, he thought it was just a prank. Until the photo in the envelope slipped - it was a photo taken on his tenth birthday. Everyone's eyes in the photo were hollowed out, leaving only dried blood.
At midnight, his computer automatically started up, and a blurry video played on the screen: a man was chained, trembling and slitting his own throat with a knife, while in the background, a mechanized voice counted down softly - "The game begins."
Lin Mo and six other strangers were imprisoned in an abandoned mental hospital and forced to participate in a death game from which they could not exit. Every time someone passes a level, someone will die in the most cruel way: the liar will have his throat pierced by a steel needle, the betrayer will have his legs dissolved with strong acid, and the hesitant person will be sewn alive into the frame and become a "art piece." And the scariest thing is that they gradually discovered that all the participants knew each other.
As the game progressed, Lin Mo discovered that all of this was no accident. Twenty years ago, a mass suicide occurred here, and they were the "survivors" of that tragedy. The final level of the game requires them to make a choice: kill the last companion, or undergo surgery and forget the truth forever...
But the real terror has just begun.

It's very interesting. I suggest you read it with more brains. The author's writing is really good and the content is quite scary. I suggest you read this type of novel.
