Adapted from the professional experiences of renowned forensic pathologist Wang Xuemei, this drama tells the story of an unconventional special investigations team. Its members include the fussy team leader Shang Jie, the dedicated and professional forensic pathologist Xia Ying, the all-purpose trace evidence examiner Li Xuekai, the naturally airheaded information analyst Song Mi, and Ying Ming, a wealthy heir who specializes in psychological profiling. The team brings together the bureau's various "unreliable" people, who work together to solve one bizarre murder case after another.
