What do you do when you transmigrate into the body of a lowly constable and get framed into offending a powerful aristocrat?
Zhang Jing isn’t worried at all. He has a Merit Points System!
Kill evildoers to earn merit points. Kill the most wicked among them, and your points can even double with a critical hit!
Merit points can be used to increase cultivation, deduce techniques, and upgrade techniques.
You used merit points to deduce the Golden Bell Shield technique and obtained the Dragon’s Roar Golden Bell Shield.
You used merit points to deduce the Iron Crotch technique and obtained the Vajra Heaven-Splitting Pestle.
You used merit points to deduce the Black Iron Sword technique and obtained Myriad Swords Return to the Source.
“Ten thousand merit points! Upgrade my cultivation! Pour it all in!”
“People are evil by nature. I’ll borrow your heads to prove my Great Way of Merit!”
From then on, Zhang Jing slaughters anyone who commits crimes and does evil, whether they’re demonic overlords, heretical cults, or powerful aristocratic clans!
The civil and military officials: “Zhang Jing has no respect for the throne. He’s arrogant, lawless, and kills the innocent indiscriminately. The court is outraged, and the aristocratic clans are up in arms. We beg Your Majesty to execute this villain!”
Zhang Jing: “Your Majesty, is my sword sharp?”
The empress: “Your sword is the sharpest in the world, Minister Zhang, and I like it very much! Minister Zhang, what do you think of this dragon robe I sewed for you myself?”
