Rebel Against the Song! As Prince Kang, I Nuke the Jin

A top student from a top Chinese university transmigrates into the body of Prince Kang, Zhao Gou, who is on the chopping block. He whips up gunpowder in the Jin camp and blows up Wanyan Zongwang's victory banquet! On the walls of Bianjing, he kicks aside the ancestral blueprints for the Divine Arm Crossbow and uses the formula for a parabola to turn siege crossbows into armor-piercing cannons that can punch through the Iron Pagoda cavalry. On the banks of the Yellow River, he sprinkles his homemade incendiary powder into the Jin army's provisions, melting the frozen river and reducing iron hooves to ash. The “Jingkang Humiliation” written in the history books is torn to shreds with half a textbook on chemical engineering! In court, he slaps the Comprehensive Mirror in Aid of Governance against Qin Hui's face. “What the hell do you know, you sour scholar? Blast furnaces can put every soldier in Yue Fei's army in plate armor, and three turns of a water-powered spinning machine can clothe a hundred thousand cavalrymen!” When Yue Fei sweeps through Zhuxian Town with the improved repeating fire lance he designed, and Han Shizhong seals off the Jin coastline with his propeller-driven warships, this emperor, condemned as a ruler who “clung to the southeast,” crushes every sneer with test tubes and gears. He will have the Song's musketeers trample the Sixteen Prefectures of Yanyun, send steamships from Quanzhou Harbor to hurl “tribute payments” into enemy camps, and make every barbarian who dares look down on the Han people kneel and sing “Man Jiang Hong” in the chain of land mines built by the disciples of the School of Science! From the first improved gunpowder bomb to explode in Bianjing to the first wooden glider to take flight in Lin'an; from the vernier caliper slammed onto the imperial desk when he abolished the imperial examinations to the steam generator mounted on a camel's back during the expedition to the north: this soul, which should have been “eking out a miserable existence” in the history books, has the periodic table burning in his veins and the laws of the lever forged into his bones. He will make the entire feudal age collapse, fall apart, and be rebuilt in the technological storm he forges with his own hands!
