This System is codenamed “Retirement Mode,” created to serve Hosts with maxed-out merit.
Mission objective: Drink tea and tend flowers in small worlds, and live to a ripe old age.
But my Hosts always go out of their way to provoke the “dangerous individuals” highlighted in red by the System!
Every time I point at the worldline and warn them: “Stay away from that dangerous person!”
The Hosts: “Okay, System (obediently).”
Then they turn around and rush straight toward the villain / yandere / ill-fated loner with their arms wide open: “I'm here to change you!”
First Host:
System: “Stay away from that father and son!”
Host: “Okay.” (Turns around, throws a birthday party for the little villain, and starts a pure romance with the BOSS.)
Second Host:
System: “Don't get involved with military males!”
Host: “Got it.” (Immediately goes and registers a marriage.)
Third Host:
System: “Merfolk are really off-limits...”
Host: “Don't worry.” (The previous Host said the same thing...)
My Hosts always say: “System, dangerous people need love too!”
The System looks at all those dangerous individuals with maxed-out corruption values: But your way of showing love is to help villains defy fate and rewrite their lives!
But eventually, the System understood:
The Hosts weren't troublemakers. They were kindhearted people with maxed-out merit who wanted to give everyone a helping hand...
Until one day, the System detected the same wound deep in the souls of every “dangerous individual”...
One System, different Hosts.
The emotions are really written with a sense of empathy. It is a very interesting book. Come on, I will read more [sending my heart] [sending my heart]
