Captain Jiang's Ghostly Bride

While investigating a tomb-raiding gang, police captain Jiang Zhan accidentally stumbles into a thousand-year-old tomb and finds a female corpse sealed with "soul-suppressing nails."

Thinking she is a victim of a ghost marriage, he sees that she is still breathing and takes her back to the police station for investigation.

But the female corpse is actually Lin Qiqi, the "Ghost Queen," sealed away by a sorcerer a thousand years ago.

In her previous life, she was a princess of a fallen kingdom. Her resentment was so strong that she could not be reincarnated, leaving her to wander the mortal world as a spirit.

Once the seal is broken, Lin Qiqi's spirit awakens and attaches herself to Jiang Zhan, even moving into his home against his will.

As they spend time together, they gradually fall in love and eventually marry.

However, as a ghost, Lin Qiqi must consume human essence on every full moon night to maintain her physical form.

At first, she chooses her victims at random. But as she grows closer to Jiang Zhan, she develops a sense of justice like that of ordinary mortals and begins targeting only the most heinous criminals.

Their bizarre deaths draw the police's attention, and a string of "murders with no killer" takes place. Jiang Zhan begins investigating in secret.

Just then, Mo Li, a feng shui master and descendant of the sorcerer who sealed Lin Qiqi, comes to see him. He tells Jiang Zhan that his wife is not only the Ghost Queen, but also the true culprit behind the serial murders.

Jiang Zhan is torn. One side is the wife he loves, and the other is the cruel truth. He must choose between justice and love...
