Facing Heaven

(Traditional fantasy + empire + destiny + geniuses + ensemble cast + myriad heavens + slow burn + exhilarating battles)

Even a million-year-old empire, an aristocratic house with an undefeated legacy, or an unrivaled powerhouse who rules the myriad heavens will eventually fade into obscurity and vanish beneath the endless march of time.

I ask the myriad heavens: what is immortality?

After the Era of Chaos, the myriad heavens split apart, forming the Five Regions and Four Seas. The myriad races each guarded their own territories and left one another in peace. But could this seemingly tranquil state conceal a tremendous storm?

As the Golden Age descends once more and the world is made whole, heroes and champions rise from every corner. What path will humanity take, once raised like livestock by all living things and treated as prey?

Is that glimmer of dawn the hope of a new beginning?

Who will uncover the truth buried in the river of time?

As turmoil erupts throughout the myriad heavens and demons run rampant, the Xuanyuan Clan of humanity raises its halberd and asks the world: who will rule its rise and fall?

With a heart of crimson, I shall claim the summit of the myriad heavens!
