Most people dream of transmigrating or returning to some point in time. Lin Yue may be a vice president, but she’s still a corporate drone. The Heavenly Dao gives her some time off: off she goes to a village in ancient times.
Our Chinese traditions at their finest mean farming and building infrastructure, making life more comfortable for ourselves.
She brings the villagers along, leading them on a journey of development, playing the fool to catch a tiger and inspiring everyone to strive for a better life. After all, modern people have lived through every kind of scam, temptation, and technology, and experienced all sorts of clean living and other trends. They’re born with all kinds of “not enough” anxieties, so why not just get to it?
My new work is here! You’re welcome to read it on Tomato Novel. I hope you’ll enjoy it. Your support is what motivates me to write, and I’ll do my best to tell every story well!
