I Return to the Modern World for One Hour a Day, and Rule the Chaotic Age

(Parallel world, alternate history)

I transmigrated more than two thousand years into the past.

The Central Plains dynasty had collapsed, warlords ruled everywhere, northern tribes were invading, and the kingdoms of the Western Regions were taking advantage of the chaos. Meanwhile, southern barbarians and island pirates were causing trouble. Smoke from the fires of war filled the land, and the people were suffering.

This was a genuine age of chaos.

Just as I was lamenting my unfair fate and wondering why I had transmigrated to this time, I gained the ability to return to the modern era for one hour each day.

There were no restrictions on time or location. I could go back whenever and wherever I wanted, and choose where I arrived.

I could bring things from this world to the modern era, and take modern goods back to this world.

This world was in the midst of chaos, with the dead lying everywhere. Food was the only thing of real value.

Goods such as pottery, meanwhile, were scattered everywhere amid the warfare, ignored and virtually worthless.

I was overjoyed.

Everything in this world was a genuine artifact from more than two thousand years ago.

All I had to do was take these things to the modern antiques market, and I could become incredibly wealthy.

And the food this world lacked was readily available in the other one.

From then on, I began my path to dominance in this age of chaos...
