Chen Xiao, an ace secret agent who has been away from home for three years, returns to China only to have his mother threaten to kill herself unless he registers his marriage to a woman he’s never met. He thinks it’s just a marriage of convenience, but his icy CEO wife spends her days making business deals and her nights carrying out assassinations. The only problem is, she’s really not very good at it.
The first time he sees her on a mission, Chen Xiao can barely keep from laughing:
“Honey, you forgot to take the safety off the sniper rifle.”
“Honey, you’re stepping on your own wiretap cable.”
“Honey… are you sure the target isn’t at the next table?”
Finally, after his wife botches yet another mission, Chen Xiao loses patience and pins her against the wall. “How about you quit this line of work?”
She snaps back in embarrassment, “If you’re so good, you do it!”
Chen Xiao chuckles. “Sure. Tonight, I’ll teach you how to be a real secret agent.”
After reading it for a long time, I realized that there are no reviews yet. It's very well written. Come on, don't finish it.
After listening to it for a while, I couldn't stop and my phone ran out of battery.
Highly recommended
