Plum Blossoms Drift South

[Mutual Devotion + Two Strong Leads + Ancient-Era Political Intrigue + Fated Romance + Happy Ending]

From the moment Wei Hanmei was born, her mother was gone. She named her Wei Hanmei, after the plum blossoms that bloom through bitter cold, as if her name had foretold her birth but not her life. Her mother was the legitimate daughter of the Wei family, as beautiful as a flower, but one mistake led to another. She trusted the wrong man, believing naively that true lovers would end up together. Instead, she fell into a whirlpool. "If we live, may we return to each other; if we die, may we forever long for each other." If there were another life, would they still wish to meet? On the day of the Beginning of Spring in 1435, the legitimate daughter of the Wei family died. The irony was that, that very night, the Pei residence celebrated a wedding...

To uncover the truth of what happened all those years ago, Wei Hanmei meets Nangong Yichen, Xiao Li, and others. With Nangong Yichen's help, she gradually uncovers the truth, clears her mother's name, and upholds justice.
