Cao Pi transmigrates as Cao Pi, starting off on his wedding night. But Cao Pi discovers that Zhen Mi is still...!
But Zhen Mi says she has no feelings!
Want me to slap you twice to get those feelings going?
“Wicked son, you were the one who chose Zhen Mi!”
“I chose her? That was just a son desperate for approval, clumsily imitating his father!”
The army is at the gates of Jiangdong.
“Father, I’ve already sent someone to Jiangdong to ask for a marriage proposal on your behalf.”
Cao Cao’s face lights up. “Da Qiao or Xiao Qiao?”
“Neither. I think you and Lady Wu are close in age and a suitable match in status. You’re truly made for each other!”
The struggle for the heir is always like this. I’ve already shown mercy by changing your fief.
The world knows only that Cao Zijian is exceptionally talented, the Yellow-Bearded One is the bravest general in the army, and Cao Chong is extraordinarily clever.
But they don’t know that Cao Zihuan excels in both letters and arms, manipulates people like a demon from beyond the borders, and handles political intrigue as easily as reading the lines on his palm.
As Cao Cao lies on his deathbed...
“Zihuan!”
“Please address the King of Wei as Crown Prince!”
“Zihuan, I’m dying.”
“Please go and die in Hanzhong, King of Wei, just as Father once died in Xuzhou. I’ll set out for Yizhou at once to avenge you!”
“I’m joking. I’m not going. In people’s hearts, Sichuan is Chengdu!”
Many years later, Cao Pi sails east to Fusang to gaze out over the sea.
“This world isn’t much to speak of. At least Zhen Mi, the Qiaos, Bu Lianshi, and Sun Shangxiang... are pretty good!”
The writing is very good in trying to figure out Cao Pi's psychology, giving people the feeling of a Cao Pi who has done a better job, rather than a person who takes the body with the same name. The writing on winning Zhen Mi's heart, Guo Jia's madness, and the character of her ex-husband is also good.
The themes I like (Zhen Mi, Cao Pi, Fang Yiai, Yinzhen, Chen Ajiao, Ying Si, Ying Zheng, Ying Yiren...) Are really not easy to find. No matter whether it is good or not, give it a five-star rating first
There are a lot of private characters, but they are self-consistent and interesting, but they still cannot stand out in the Three Kingdoms series.
I have read the first two books, but this one has a little bit of a lack of cars. I don't think it is as interesting as the first two books.
