Li Wei is 25 and has been unable to find a job for six months since graduating from college. Living in Shanghai in 2025, he is under mounting pressure to find work. One day, a lawyer calls to tell him that his grandfather has died and left him a company called Spirit Realm Solutions. The company is based in an old building in the former French Concession, and its employees are all monsters, including dragons, fox spirits, and zombies. It provides services to both humans and monsters.
