He was once China’s most elite special forces soldier, but died in the line of duty. When he opens his eyes again, he has been reborn in 1983 as an idle street punk!
Wang Lei was the ace of the “Blades” Special Operations Brigade in the Eastern Theater Command. He died protecting his comrades during a counterterrorism operation.
But fate gave him a second chance: he was reborn in 1983 as a mechanic factory punk with the same name, a drunkard and gambler who was deep in debt and had even bullied the girl next door…
Facing this mess of poverty and a broken family, Wang Lei sneers:
“Since I’ve been given another life, this time I’m going to rewrite my fate for good!”
In this life:
He uses the iron-fisted methods of a special forces soldier to sweep aside street punks and strike fear into criminal gangs!
With business acumen far ahead of his time, he trades government bonds, starts an electronics factory, and enters real estate, building a business empire amid the wave of reform and opening up!
He makes up for the regrets of his previous life and protects his family, ensuring his parents enjoy their later years in comfort and his younger sister gets into college. He even brings the girl he once hurt as his former self back into his life…
From street punk to business magnate, from despised by all to admired by millions!
In this life, he’ll live the most thrilling and glorious life imaginable!
