He transmigrates as Li Ke, the third prince of the Tang Dynasty. From the start, he is blinded while saving Empress Changsun.
Afterward, determined not to remain a cripple, he enters a Daoist temple and takes a master who is a hidden expert.
Later, he returns to Chang'an and works alongside Crown Prince Li Chengqian to protect the glory of the Tang Dynasty. During this time, powerful aristocratic clans try to harm him with all kinds of plots and schemes, but none of them succeed.
He later leads troops into battle, strikes fear across the four directions, and makes the barbarians submit. He becomes the Tang Dynasty's Prince Who Guards the Nation, a pillar of the realm.
According to records from later generations, Li Ke, Prince of Wu and Duke Who Guards the Nation, helped the Tang Dynasty reach the pinnacle of the world through his wisdom, beginning the day he returned to Chang'an. Without Li Ke, the Tang Dynasty's golden age would have been undeserved. Later generations called Li Ke and Li Jing the Tang Dynasty's God of War, and Qin Qiong the Tang Dynasty's God of Battle.
