As the Years Slowly Grow Old

Set in a northern residential compound in the 1990s, against the backdrop of two state-owned factories, the story reveals conflicts of interest between the parents’ generation, adding real-world obstacles to the protagonists’ romance.

Following the protagonists from childhood encounters to young love and then through family conflicts, the story uses keepsakes such as candy wrappers and fountain pens as emotional threads, gradually showing how they overcome the odds.
