A fishing and hunting legend intertwined between reality and virtuality
In order to escape the shadow of war, retired special forces Sergei Ivanov lived in seclusion in a small town by the Volga River and made a living by fishing. One day, he caught a golden trout that he had never seen before in the game "Russian Fishing 4". Then the real river began to experience abnormalities: fish disappeared, the water quality changed strangely, and local fishermen rumored that secret experimental subjects from the Soviet era were hidden underwater.
When Sergey discovered that the fish caught in the game were rotting simultaneously with reality, he realized that he was involved in an ecological crisis that spanned virtuality and reality. He must unite with fishing friends from around the world he met in the game - Chinese programmer Xiao Lin, Norwegian environmentalist Eileen, and the mysterious player "White Whale" who always comes online late at night - to uncover the truth about the pollution left by the military and catch the legendary "radiation-eating fish king" in order to save the river.
But the biggest challenge is not technical: real anglers must face their past reluctance to bite the hook.
