Story summary
In a small village at the western foot of Fanjing Mountain, a famous Buddhist mountain, there is a young man named Su Junyan. Although his family is poor, he loves learning and respects his parents. In addition to going up the mountain to cut firewood and cultivate the land every day, and going home to take care of my blind mother, I also have to stay up late and read at night. Not far from the village, there is a Nine Dragon Pond, in which live nine golden dragons who follow the orders of the Jade Emperor to guard Fanjing Mountain, namely the Dragon King, the Dragon Mother and their seven daughters. One of the youngest daughters often changes her human form and goes out to play in groups because she cannot bear the loneliness. One day, he met the bookish Su Junyan on the mountain road. He felt that this person was strange, so he quietly followed Su Junyan to his home. After discovering that Su Junyan was a filial son who loved reading, he decided to help him and give him his mother's eyes that had been cured. After a period of contact, Xiao Long Nu Tuantuan and Su Junyan gradually developed feelings. However, this matter was strongly opposed by the Dragon King, and a war between humans and gods broke out. In order to prevent their union, the Dragon King set up many obstacles for Tuantuan and Su Junyan, locked Tuantuan in Jiulong Pond, blocked Su Junyan with a mountain to prevent them from meeting each other, and even used flash floods to destroy their village, but none of these could stop Tuantuan and Junyan's love. In the end, their love moved Lord Maitreya Buddha who practiced at the Golden Summit of Fanjing Mountain. With the help of Lord Buddha, the Jade Emperor made an exception and allowed their union, and officially named the village where they lived Tuanlong Village.
