The Fall of Holy Light

- The Uncanny: Nonliving calamities formed by distortions in the world's rules. Neither good nor evil, they cannot be reasoned with. They instinctively twist reality, devour minds, and corrupt bodies, following only their own bizarre rules.

- Aberrations: Mutated beings formed when living creatures are directly contaminated by the Uncanny. They come in two types: mindless, violent beasts and semi-mutated creatures that retain some awareness. These secondary disasters can only be controlled by high-level Uncanny entities or Uncanny tamers.

- Awakened: Special humans who awaken spiritual perception. They belong to a completely separate system from Uncanny tamers and cannot control the Uncanny. Skilled at detecting, locating, and analyzing uncanny rules, they also possess strong mental resistance and an ability to sense danger. They are the Uncanny Investigation Bureau's “eyes and measuring stick.”

- Uncanny tamers: Humans who use their own souls and bodies as vessels to enslave the power of the Uncanny. They follow an extreme combat path and can suppress the Uncanny and aberrations head-on, but they are constantly eroded and will eventually mutate or be consumed by the power. They are the Investigation Bureau's “sword and shield.”

To protect the world from destruction by evil forces,

a man of faith was born into the world.

To defend the world,

a group of divine envoys, each bearing a special mission, came into being.

They are bound to cards, each possessing their own abilities.

They can also transmigrate through time and space, wielding swords of light as they fight a deadly battle across the ages against embodiments of evil intent.

Perhaps these evils were outsiders at first.

But after the passage of countless years, are these evil thoughts ultimately the work of humans, or the will of Heaven?

Who, in the end, holds the power over all fate?
