"Stars" and "Spring Water" are famous collections of short poems written by Ms. Bing Xin under the influence of the Indian poet Rabindranath Tagore's "Birds". They are also recognized as the greatest achievement of short poems. "Stars" contains a total of 164 short poems, and "Spring Water" is the companion volume of "Stars" and consists of 182 short poems. In "Stars", she sings a hymn of love. Praising maternal love, praising human love, and calling out childlike innocence, she also praises nature and creates a world of perfection and beauty. In "Spring Water", while she continued to praise family affection, childlike innocence, and nature, she implicitly expressed the troubles and anguish of young intellectuals of that era. She described her thoughts and feelings about life in a slightly sad tone.
