The Rest of Our Lives, Together

Yiwen graduated with a junior college degree in law, but she was also a timid, naive young woman. She had worked at a law firm for nearly three years, yet still wasn't qualified to practice. When it came to marriage, she admired the dashing bearing of soldiers and was determined to marry one.

By a twist of fate, Yiwen met Wang Ping, a doctor from northern Shaanxi who worked in the emergency department of a military hospital.

It was love at first sight. They quickly fell for each other and decided to spend their lives together.

But after a series of upheavals, Yiwen and Wang Ping ended up living together more like partners sharing expenses than a married couple.

Life's trials also turned Yiwen into a workplace ace.

Later, Wang Ping began living apart from Yiwen and started a genuine live-in arrangement with another woman.

Even as he shared a home with this other woman, Wang Ping couldn't stop worrying about Yiwen.

Heartbroken, what will Yiwen do next?

This novel reveals the realities faced by some people in middle age today, portraying the struggles and helplessness of their generation.
