Di Shian was a renowned Sword Venerable in the cultivation world. He cultivated the Heartless Dao and was undefeated beneath the heavens. He had lived for centuries and never imagined he could feel something like love.
But at some point, a seemingly foolish young disciple began appearing before him again and again, boldly confessing his love.
The disciple was taken away that very day and beaten fifty times.
But once he recovered, he came back. In time, even the sect stopped trying to rein in the disciple's persistence.
Di Shian had lived for centuries, but had never met anyone so audacious. The young disciple's sincerity didn't move him. He simply found it tiresome.
Until one day, the disciple suddenly vanished from before his eyes, and Di Shian began suffering from insomnia.
By chance, he overheard fellow disciples say that the young disciple had died. Di Shian remained unmoved.
So what if one person had died? Countless people had died by his hand. Why make such a fuss?
But the next day, Di Shian died too.
He arrived in the Underworld and saw the familiar young disciple.
The disciple had a Soul-Returning Lamp that could bring people back to life, and he handed it to Di Shian without hesitation.
Di Shian took the lamp and left.
The young disciple was a little sad, but by evening, Di Shian had returned.
“I accidentally broke the Soul-Returning Lamp. I can't come back to life.”
Then stay here in hell with me.
Di Shian thought he and the young disciple could live together peacefully in the Underworld like this, until one day he saw a man who looked exactly like him, with his young disciple embracing that man.
If you didn't like me, why did you lead me on in the first place?
Now that you're here, don't even think about leaving.
