Main Characters
- Xie Jiyue: The male lead, composed and dependable. He was once the family's mainstay, and after being framed and imprisoned, he comes to cherish Yao Yao's sacrifices and the meaning of family even more.
- Yao Yao: The female lead, gentle yet resilient. Though she seems quiet, she can step forward when it matters, showing great wisdom and courage to protect her family.
- Lin Weiwei: Yao Yao's best friend, gentle by nature. Her relationship with Yun Li serves as a secondary plotline that highlights the main couple's devotion, and she is an important source of emotional support for Yao Yao.
- Yun Li: Xie Jiyue's friend and Lin Weiwei's husband. Loyal and reliable, he gives Xie Jiyue his full support when he falls into crisis, while his own relationship is also tested by many trials.
