A sudden disaster brought countless demonic beasts to Blue Star.
Just before Jiang Ling, a good-for-nothing unable to form a contract with a spirit pet, dies, the System awakens!
He also gains the SSS-rank spirit pet Taotie!
Devouring demonic beasts drops [Skill Fragments].
Devouring equipment breaks it down into [Equipment Scraps].
And after devouring 9,999 demonic beasts...
Taotie takes the form of a girl in red in his dreams, licks her lips, and asks, “Who should I eat next?”
When a level 99 demonic beast unleashes a tide that threatens to destroy the world,
Jiang Ling stands atop the colossal beast-shaped body of Taotie
and grins at the countless demonic beasts.
“My little one has a big appetite. I’d be grateful if you all would...”
“Line up and bring the food!”
